Update July 24,2024This morning Keith Huck was traveling a rural road in southern Dubois County and observed a backhoe in a field parked next to some woods. Mr. Huck contacted the Perry County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies went to the location and confirmed the backhoe Mr. Huck saw was in fact the stolen backhoe. The backhoe was recovered and returned to the owners. Deputies are investigating the theft of this 1998 John Deere 310 backhoe that was stolen from the area of Chaplin Road and State Road 145.
